Homewood Gourmet is open and ready for curbside service! Call to inquire about delivery. Our adjusted hours during this time are Monday-Friday 10:30am-5:00pm and Saturday 10:30am-2:00pm.
In order to keep our staff and customers safe, we are taking the following precautions: Dine-in service has been discontinued until further notice. We have a serve safe manager on duty at all times. Staff members are sanitizing all surfaces every 30 minutes and using single-use gloves throughout each shift. Our point of sale computer is portable and sanitized after each use.

We are a locally-owned restaurant that utilizes the freshest ingredients around. We are committed to serving only the highest quality ingredients and make as much as we can from scratch—even our breads. We love sandwiches so much that we bought Franklin’s Homewood Gourmet in 2007. Homewood Gourmet still features some long-time favorites such as the Original Baby Blue Salad and our famous Spiced Pecans but have added our own touch to the menu including fried Gulf shrimp Poboys, house-made Pimiento Cheese and Dinner Entrees To-Go that are made fresh daily. Our goal is to offer the community a place to enjoy high-quality food in a fast-casual atmosphere. We hope you will join us soon.

About Us

Chris and Laura Zapalowski are the co-owners and chefs of Homewood Gourmet. Chris brings his love of New Orleans cuisine and heritage while Laura implements her classic Southern food style to their Homewood establishment. The Zapalowskis purchased Homewood Gourmet from its founder Chef Franklin Biggs in May 2010. They strive to keep Chef Franklin’s fresh, creative approach to food while incorporating as many local and seasonal products as possible.
